Google announced another experimental project today: Want Super Broadband?

Personally... I think it's about time.


Corporate motivations aside, better/faster broadband would be better for everyone, not just Google. And you can bet that this is another nail in the casket for dedicated offline software developers (is there even such thing anymore?).

In other words, Microsoft better pick it up. I love what MS is doing in its concept department, but unlike them, Google is actually turning their experiments into things that the public can play with to see what they think.

I really hope faster broadband gets here soon. My home cable barely streams YouTube half the time.
