This Bill Moyers Journal comment popped up on Huffington today, revealing one of the leaders in the opposition against health care reform.

Wait. What was that?

There's an opposition group against health care reform?

Well, there must be some people out there against it, which would explain the whole reason for the 'debate' in the first place. If we combine the 'anti-reform' people with the rest who are just generally suspicious of anything the government does, well we have a protest.

If Bill is correct, these are the same people who opposed reform the last time we took it up in the 90's. The thrust of the opposition argument hasn't changed all that much in 15 years either (loss of quality, loss of accessibility, etc.). The difference between now and back then is that now we have a bigger financial crisis on our hands, with a larger percentage of people distrustful of the government.
